Documentary Subject

This is Sway Velilla, he is a pastor that preaches at BCM: The Journey here at IUSB and BCM at Notre Dame. He also works at Notre Dame in the skating rink as a Zamboni driver. He is planting(starting) a church, in his apartment.

If I was to do a documentary on Sway, I would interview him about church planting and how it works. This would be very interesting because not many people have heard of church planting before. This would be a good way to encourage or empower people to go out and do things for the Lord.

1. When did you get saved/ baptized?
2. How did you get into ministry?
3. What made you want to start planting a church?
4. How is your church service currently structured?
5. How did you start the process? Do you receive any funding, donations, or help from anybody?
6. What is your attendance like?
7. How is this experience for you and your family?
8. What impact do you think your church has on the community around you?
9. Do you ever plan on doing ministry overseas?
10. How do you see your church in the future? 5 years from now? 10 years from now?

BEAT #2- Student #1 shows interest in student #2's project
Student #1- (comes over to look at the project on the table) Hey, you should use your time more wisely! What are you making anyway? It looks pretty weird.
Student #2- It’s a collage of sorts, it’s an abstract nature scene. I have to get it done for my art class.
Student #1- Which one?
Student #2- Not sure, I can’t really think right now, too busy gluing!
Student #1-(points to an empty void on the page) What’s that empty space going to be?
Student #2- Well, I was looking for a moose, but I couldn’t find one. I’m really not sure what’s going to be there.

Student #1- (sits down in the chair next to him) We started a partner project in class today, it’s due in two weeks.

Student #1- Well, my partner is that girl two seats down from me. Her names Lacy.

Student #1- Yea, she has my number, so she’ll text me later on.
Student #2- (in a distracted voice while trying to glue more pieces onto the paper) Sweet.
BEAT #4- Student #1 Disconnects with student #2
Student #1- (gets back up) Well, I probably should stop bothering you so you can concentrate on your project. By the way, you have 1 hour and 50 minutes left!
